Who do you talk to about the career stuff keeping you awake at night such as how you really feel about difficult relationships with key stakeholders; the potential impact of the proposed change management programme on your team; your job role at risk of redundancy or your worst nightmare of actually being made redundant at the worst possible time? And? And?
How objective can your partner, family and/or friends be given your emotional connection with them?
Are you comfortable with confiding in work colleagues especially if the challenges you're facing are very personal?
How often are you having uninterrupted, purposeful and non-judgemental conversations that can help you to take a 'deep dive' into what's really going on for you? And more importantly how often are you tapping into your intuition so that you can figure out how best to move forward?
